THE ME PROJECT

As you move into a new stage of your life- College, work, or becoming a senior...
I want you to take time to share who you are and where you want to go with the rest of your life.


TASK and POINTS: Please choose two of the following projects that you want to excellently present to our class.

The first project will be your primary project worth 50 points

your secondary project will be worth 30 points.


Please choose two projects that you prefer to accomplish and then I will assign you the date that you will share them with your fellow Applied Scientists.


PROJECT ME ACTIVITY Choices AND PROCEDURES:

1. ME PICTURE STORY:
The story will be able to tell about you just by looking at them!
Presenting this: You will be given the opportunity to describe each piece of your picture story to your classmates.

2. LIFE GOALS:
Write down 20 goals-if primary or 10 if secondary- that you want to accomplish in your lifetime or in a specific time period; for
example, before your 40th birthday. These goals must be typed.
Presenting this: You will need to explain 3 of these goals to the class and how you plan to accomplish them.

3. SELF-PORTRAIT:
Draw a picture of yourself ten years from now involved in the activity/career of your choice. You must not worry about artistic ability to do this one.
Presenting this: Be prepared to share your finished portrait with the class with a description of why you are so involved.

4. 3D OR COLLAGE:
This will be a representation of your life from the day you were born to the day you turn 35 years old.
Presenting this: You will have an opportunity to show and tell these to the rest of the class.

5. VIDEO STARRING YOURSELF:
You will share your life with the class by producing a video that will tell about your life and your future.
Presenting this:
We would enjoy an approximately 4 minutes if primary, 2 if secondary- video to show this wonderful movie to your fellow humans. No R-Rated movies please.

6. ORIGINAL SELF-sharing ACTIVITY:
Create a similar activity of your own that will be comparable to the requirements of this assignment.
Presenting this: Be prepared to share this activity with the class.
If you have any idea and would like to try, please let me know before you get started on it.

7. LETTER TO THE OLD(er) YOU:
Write a letter to yourself for when you are 25, 45, 65- Be sure to include what age you are writing to. What you are doing, what you did to get to that point how you feel about being there, what challenges you overcame, what people you met along the way, anyone special in your journey, where you want to go from there.
Presenting this: Please write at least 3 pages if primary project and 2 if secondary.

8. CREATE A SONG about you or describing you. Can be original or sampled.
Presenting this: Please make this at least 2minutes if primary and 1minute if secondary. Please provide lyrics to Mr. DeSain.
